Engine Startup
Once your pump units are in place, you can start the engines for the entire line from a single location. LightSpeed allows you to slowly ramp up the system pressure and flow for a safe startup every time.
Start Agitation
After startup, LightSpeed has the ability to begin agitation. With the automated control system, you can start agitators from the other side of the barn without having to leave your position.
Start Lead Pump
Just like controlling your engines and agitators, with LightSpeed you can start your lead pump to get the liquid flowing. From either your connected mobile device or the hardware installed on the pump unit, you can start the liquid transfer and monitor pressures and pit levels as you go.
Open Lead Pump Outlet Gate
With your lead pump running, you can open the outlet gate to start the liquid flow. Start your lead pump’s force feed from the tractor cab, the field, or while working in the office.
Monitor Flow to Tractor
LightSpeed gives you the control to monitor pressures and pit levels. Utilizing KROHNE flow meter tubes, LightSpeed displays the flow rate data to the screen in the tractor in near real-time. LightSpeed updates around three times a second for the most up-to-date data readings.
Adjust Throttle on Booster Pumps
Similar to your lead pumps, LightSpeed can bring control remotely from anywhere over your booster pumps. The remote controls mean you can adjust the throttle and gate positions of a booster pump miles away without the need to drive to it in the field.
Set Auto-Throttle
Set your defined presets for your engine RPM, inlet and outlet PSI and let LightSpeed do the work. Auto-throttle monitors your pump performance to respond to changes instantaneously to maintain the user-defined presets. If a line break occurs, LightSpeed can shut down pumps within seconds to mitigate spills and keep your operation on track.
Full Site-Mapping
Within LightSpeed’s software, you can create sites and fields to plan your sites ahead of time. Map your field borders, pump placements, and hose lines, then save the map for the next season. LightSpeed documents your mapping information to save you time during setup for the next time you’re at the site.
Asset/GPS Tracking
Feel at ease taking your eyes off of your pump units with LightSpeed’s asset tracking. Every pump is monitored with GPS tracking to pinpoint your pump’s location from anywhere in the world.
Analytic Reporting
The analytics tab within LightSpeed’s internet-based software documents your pump performance. Additionally, it tracks your utilization, noting your daily, hourly, and minute by minute performance of your assets. You can also view your service records and get notified when it’s time for regular maintenance.
Full Team Monitoring
LightSpeed software gives owners the ability to assign user levels to crew members specific to their roles. Administrators get full access, while crew members can all view the same data on the line they're working on together. Plus, LightSpeed is a great tool for us to train you on how to more efficiently operate your system.
