U.S. Coupling 2.5” Hydrant Gate Valves utilize a true 2.5” ID bore for unrestricted water flow when the gate valve is opened 100%. Our hydrant gate valves feature a non rising stem design with a swivel female connection, allowing a compact and adaptable design when connected to the hydrant. The U.S. Coupling 2.5” Hydrant Gate Valve also features a field serviceable and rebuildable design increasing the service life of your hydrant gate valves.
U.S. Coupling ball shut offs, smooth bore tips, and fog nozzles are built from aircraft grade aluminum and finished with a hard anodizing process to withstand the extreme environments and years of use and abuse on the fire scene. U.S. Coupling ball shut offs feature an all-aluminum construction, including a bale handle, an optional pistol grip, and internal components. Our ball shut offs are designed with a 1-1/2” diameter internal waterway for unrestricted water flow, also reducing nozzle reaction. Smooth bore tips can be ordered in outlet sizes from 3/4” to 1-1/4” to maximize your water stream reach and penetration of the fire. Fog nozzle tips provide adjustability in water stream shape, from full fog for heat absorption to a straight stream for extended reach into the seat of the fire.
Easily drain the water from your large diameter supply hose with our system using an air compressor, Air Raid hose, manifold, pig catcher and pigging balls and bullets. Cleaning out the line is the best practice for proper hose care — it makes rolling hose back onto the hose cart easier and causes less wear and tear. Foam pigging bullets and balls, or purge balls, can bring ease to your water supply line cleanout.
