Crowds Gather For Puck’s 40th Anniversary
Manning, IA (July 11, 2019) - On June 27th and 28th, hundreds of people converged on Manning, Iowa to attend the 40th Anniversary Open House of Puck Enterprises, a leading manufacturer of liquid transfer equipment. Hosted at the company’s headquarters, customers, state representatives, and the general public were treated to a momentous two-day event that was packed full of product demonstrations, new product unveilings, facility tours and much more. The open house was not only a celebration of Puck’s innovation over the last 40 years but was a proud declaration of where the company is headed as it continues to develop products that are built to lead the industry.
Day one of the open house exhibited the capabilities of Puck’s line of liquid application and pump products to customers that traveled from as far away as Montana. Creating the most buzz was the new TTR-30 hose cart, Boom Truck 5470 lead trailer, and Torsion Flex pull-type toolbar applicator. Also turning heads was the company’s announcement of a partnership with Iowa-based Bauer Built Manufacturing to produce a new fertilizer spreader and side dump trailer for dry manure applications.
On the second day of the event, the community was invited, along with customers, to visit the Puck campus for facility tours and to engage with employees. The tours provided a unique perspective of how Puck Enterprises has grown from humble beginnings at the Puck family’s farm to operating three locations in the United States and one internationally.
“All of us at Puck would like to thank our customers and the community for coming out and helping us celebrate this incredible milestone,” said Jeremy Puck, General Manager of Puck Enterprises. “It is because of their support, and the innovative spirit of the entire Puck team, that the company is in the position that it’s in today. We are using that momentum to help propel us into the future.”
The ambition for innovation can be found in all of the new Puck products. TTR-30 is a specialized turn table reel that can hold a mile and a half of 10” hose or three miles of 8” hose, which, in turn, allows liquid transfer operations to increase their efficiency and capacity. On the applicator front, Puck’s new torsion flex pull-type toolbar features an easy bolt-on shank that can handle heavier application needs. A big leap in liquid transfer capabilities was taken with the Boom Truck 5470, with its ability to swivel the entire pump and boom for added pumping flexibility.
