Puck Fire Attends FDIC 2024
Puck Fire will be returning to the annual FDIC International event in April, 2024. Although BullDog Hose Company has been in attendance since 2018, this will be Puck Fire’s second time appearing at the fire conference. Launched in 2023, Puck Fire encompasses BullDog Hose in Angier, North Carolina and U.S. Coupling in Dothan, Alabama. For the last 45 years, Puck Enterprises has been a leading manufacturer of liquid transfer equipment systems. Utilizing that experience, Puck Fire provides a new approach to bringing water to the fire.
When we first launched Puck Fire at FDIC 2023, we had tested our Foam Tote Trailer, our Quick Attack, and our Force Feed Truck at TEEX in Texas with positive results. We also unveiled Puck Fire’s first Force Feed Trailer, which was later tested in New York with equally favorable results. Throughout 2023, we spent time with customers in both the industrial and municipal fire spaces, learning more about fire hoses and fire equipment. We appreciate the time we spent with those customers to get us to where we are today.
One feature of Puck Fire equipment that exemplifies our innovation is the implementation of our LightSpeed control system. LightSpeed comes standard equipped on all Puck Fire equipment, and utilizes hardware on the equipment with web-based technology for remote use. LightSpeed brings real-time asset control to your fingertips to place resources as efficiently as possible. Operators are able to monitor and adjust engine speeds, open and close valves, and make real-time, data-based decisions from any connected, web-enabled device. The LightSpeed control system has been used and perfected over the last 15 years by leaders in the liquid transfer business. Tried and tested for increased safety on the job, LightSpeed is an easy-to-implement, highly reliable product for the firefighting industry.
What to Expect
Puck Fire is excited to announce that we will have a new product offering on display at FDIC in 2024. The TTR15P is a turn table reel with an engine power pack that rotates the reel, as well as spins the reel. It helps safely and efficiently deploy and retrieve large diameter supply hose. With Puck’s patented Arch Guard and domed reel ends, your water supply hose will not twist, roll, kink, or spill over the edge of the hose cart.
