Jacob Dreier – Over a decade at Puck

Our Assembly team is the last step in the production line. The staff in assembly take all the materials specially crafted by CNC, Fabrication, and Painting and Coating and put it all together. As the Assembly Supervisor in Manning, Jacob Dreier ensures that Puck equipment is constructed and ready to be sent out to customers in a timely manner.

How It Started

When he took on the job of Assembly Supervisor, Jacob had been at Puck for over a decade, about the same amount of time Puck had been manufacturing Force Feed trailers. When he looks at the newest tandem axle Force Feed units Puck produces now, he’s reminded of how far he and the company have come. “I think I put together the very last outside-sourced hose cart,” said Jacob, “and I built one of the very first hose carts manufactured in-house.” At this point, Jacob has been at Puck long enough that he has built at least one of every type of equipment Puck manufactures.

Jacob also worked in the field with Puck’s manure application crew for a few years before settling in with Assembly. “In Assembly, everyone shares ideas and shares their knowledge,” said Jacob. “Some people build more hose carts than others, and some people build Force Feeds and boom-related stuff. Everyone goes where they’re needed and helps everybody else out.”

As he looks to the future, Jacob is excited for what is to come and the changes he will see. “We’re constantly making changes and improving products, and even coming out with new products. It’s gonna be exciting to see what we’ve been building and what’s coming next.”
