BullDog Hose Moves Liquid for Bridge Rehabilitation Project

The diversity of products that Puck Enterprises offers is on full display on the Delaware Memorial Bridge rehabilitation project with Posillico. The brands of Puck Enterprises work together to move liquid and you can see that clearly in this construction project.

The contractors from Posillico are working to remove a portion of the bridge deck, which crosses the Delaware River between New Castle, Delaware and Pennsville, New Jersey. They will replace the top 2” of the existing deck slabs with ultra-high-performance concrete.

BullDog Hose Company's WAT-Hog hose (a product of Puck Enterprises) and U.S. Coupling's manifolds (another product of Puck Enterprises) have been used in this project for water supply and return for hydro demolition operations throughout the course of this project.

WAT-Hog hose features a through-the-weave, one-piece construction comprising a circular woven high-tenacity polyester reinforcement that is encapsulated in a tough cover and lining. It is tough and durable with exceptional resistance to abrasion and cutting for use on a wide variety of ground conditions. It is also resistant to fuels, chemicals and weathering, making it a great asset to this project.

This project has three phases that are expected to be complete by November 2023. The first phase of the Northbound Span on the Delaware side of the bridge is currently complete.

Whether it be spreading manure, fighting fires or rehabilitating a bridge, the brands of Puck Enterprises have something to aid in the process.
