Built to Lead, Built on Trust

Puck got its start in 1979 moving liquid manure, and every innovation since has come from a need for more efficiency in the industry. Part of why Puck customers trust our equipment is because we use that same equipment to move hundreds of millions of gallons each year. We know our equipment is the best because we only want to use the best. To ensure our customers get the full benefit of their equipment, the Puck sales team goes above and beyond to help crews get set up.

Sharing Knowledge

Pump School takes place in Manning, Iowa several times over the summer and winter, providing crews valuable knowledge outside of pumping season. With new lessons, activities, and attendees each session, there is always new information to be gleaned at Pump School. Our experts share decades of industry experience and tips, backed by proven data and math. Pump School does not require attendees to be Puck customers, as the information provided is applicable to anyone in the industry.

Although they can troubleshoot many hiccups from the office via LightSpeed, the Puck sales team isn’t chained to their desk. They’re on the road and in the fields talking to customers in person. Our sales team has also been known to make deliveries of new equipment or consumables, such as hose or coupling orders. Each sales team member has the pumping experience to help your crew get started with their new piece of equipment.

Hands-On Learning

Custom applicators new to manure dragline operations will even see their sales team member in the field helping the crew get started. Sales representatives can provide hands-on training of Puck equipment and provide tips based on geography and site designation. From pre-planning equipment purchases with site mapping and flow rate equations to firing up the pumps and getting manure to the field, the Puck sales team is there to help.

Hickory Hills, a dairy farm in northwest Iowa, recently bought equipment to start pumping their own lagoons. Darren Boersma, manager at Hickory Hills, worked with his sales team member for months before and during the pumping season. “Getting the project started with Joe Heese, he went over a lot of the numbers with us,” said Darren. “He brought up stuff I never would have thought of until we started doing it ourselves.”

Hickory Hills may be a new customer, but our customer relations go back to some of our first customers more than a decade ago. Kyle Luckey of Luckey’s Pumping Service has been choosing Puck equipment for the last 15 years. “What I like the most about Puck is the interactions with the employees,” said Kyle. “I’ve known them since the beginning, so it’s easy to get to know everyone.”

The Puck sales team goes above and beyond for all applicators, customers or not, in order to see the manure dragline industry prosper. One of our core values is teamwork, and that goal of community and collaboration extends to our customers.
