Longevity of Puck Equipment
Puck’s service shop maintains equipment from every generation of Puck innovation. One product that is still regularly serviced more than a decade after being sold is one of the very first pump trailers. Despite being more than 15 years old, the pump unit is one of the first five units Puck manufactured, and is still being used each season. The longevity of Puck pumps and other products exemplifies our commitment to reliable, industry-leading equipment.
Solid Manufacturing

Puck equipment is built to last, starting from the raw materials sourced for our products. Durable steel from North American mills are cut with machine precision and bent to perfectly shape parts. Puck fabricators weld pieces with strict quality standards in mind to create strong, solid parts. The parts are primed and baked with a dry coating multiple times over for the ideal thickness before being given a long-lasting top coat of paint. Our assembly team ensures that each sturdy piece placed on a heavy-duty chassis is secured to withstand the toughest ground conditions and field environments. Puck’s manufacturing process has been field tested, not only by our own pumping crew, but by our customers, as well.
After taking a trip to Manning to see Puck equipment and talk to Ben and Jeremy in 2015, Reicks View Farms went home with a new lead pump, a booster pump, two hose reels, and an agitation trailer. The ten-year-old equipment is still in use today at the large, family owned hog farm. “That system has been–wow. That’s changed manure pumping, in my opinion,” said Josh Gieselhart, Reicks View Manure Manager. “I was so excited that we had to have one of the first AGI pumps.” Reicks View Farms has been using their original Puck equipment -- with some additional equipment as their own production grew – every season for their nurseries, finishers, and confinement barns.
Field Tested Endurance
Any changes made to product standards today are made to meet demands of dragline application equipment as the industry evolves. Updates such as our engine enclosures on pump trailers or A-frame chassis tongues are made to extend service life and withstand any custom application job. With our own application team pumping more than 400 million gallons a year, we field test every product for the endurance applicators need. From hard, dry fields to rocky, unstable ground Puck equipment is crafted to get the job done each year. Season after season, our customers know that they can rely on our products to perform flawlessly for years to come.
At a time when many products are built to be replaced within a few years of use, Puck takes pride in manufacturing equipment that lasts a lifetime. Talk to a sales representative about extending the service life of your pumping equipment.
