Foam Tote Trailer Product Overview
Flammable liquids and hazardous materials require more than just water to be put out. For large-scale industrial or chemical fires, you need large-scale foam delivery. Smother the vapors completely and get foam on the fire fast with the quick set up of a Puck Foam Tote Trailer.
This mobile discharging platform is compatible with both 275 and 660 gallon foam concentrate totes for direct injection. Foam totes can be locked into place for ease of transport and road travel so that they are readily available for fast deployment. The trailer offers a range of one to six foam tote carry capacity configurations to provide a custom mobile firefighting unit that fits your specific needs.
Pipework & Chassis
The front of the A-frame trailer houses a 5” Storz inlet connections on both the passenger and driver side of the trailer. Above that sits the self-educting monitor and manifold, allowing for efficient foam application. The pre-piped single waterway aluminum monitor allows for flow rates up to 1,250 gallons per minute. The Puck Foam Tote Trailer provides high performance foam delivery utilizing a 4” waterway feeding into a 3” riser-pipe. The riser-pipe features 2-½” U.S. Coupling Gate Valves on each side for additional discharge. The waterway allows 360° rotation and minimizes friction loss for the most efficient flow.
Puck manufacturing builds this A-frame trailer durable for long service life, with stainless steel piping. The tongue mounted jack has a 5,000 pound capacity. An additional dual 5,000 pound capacity is available on the rear jacks mounted behind the rear axle. Quick Connect Cam Lock connectors with short, flexible hoses are used to connect foam totes to the main waterway for quick and easy changeover. Storage compartments above the wheels on each side of the trailer are capable of holding 1 ¾”, 2 ½”, 3”, 4”, and 5” hose.
