FF4000-70 Product Overview

Rapid fire suppression requires maneuverable pumps and a steady water supply. Ditch the floating submersible pumps and hydraulic lines and attack the task at hand with Puck’s Force Feed Truck. Forged with over 45 years of liquid transfer experience, the FF4000-70 is engineered for versatility without compromise.

Force Feed Features

A 577 HP pump engine powers the Cornell 8NHG19 pump with 19” impeller for maximum displacement. The four section Z-fold boom on the Force Feed Truck has a 70′ horizontal reach to gain access to any open water source. A Cornell 10NNWH submersible feeder pump at the end of the boom has true 8” ID steel pipework. A cage surrounds the submersible pump to prevent obstructions. The 70’ reach of the hydraulic boom can reach over sea walls or other open deep water sources. With 6”-10” discharge connections, achieve flow rates up to 4,000 gallons per minute.

Quickly set up at the scene with the Force Feed Truck with less manpower. The boom can be deployed by utilizing the manual lever on the truck or the remote control. The wireless boom control allows a single user to deploy and situate the boom from a safe distance with optimal visuals of the situation. The compact boom is mounted on the rear to allow operators to easily back the truck up to the water source. Fast deployment and proven flow rates gives your team the big water it needs to suppress fires quickly and safely.

The LightSpeed control system provides hydraulic gate control, as well as accurate flow readings by using the KROHNE flow meter. LightSpeed’s auto-throttle gives operators the ability to set parameters for added monitoring and automatic responses for added safety. The advanced pump protection technology of LightSpeed allows operators to regulate pressures and add another layer of safety without adding more people. Real-time asset control is at your fingertips, with the ability to monitor and adjust engine speeds, open and close valves, and make real-time, data-based decisions. All of this can be done from any connected, web-enabled device.

Chassis & Runtime

The FF4000-70 is designed for stability and safety, with a weight balanced chassis and large outrigger footprint. With outriggers deployed, the operational length of the Puck Fire Force Feed Truck is less than 40’ with an additional 70’ of horizontal boom length. The mobile pump truck has a 14 hour runtime with a fuel capacity of 300 gallons of diesel and 24 gallons of DEF. The Force Feed apparatus can be affixed to a truck of your choosing. It is compatible with chassis from International, Freightliner, and Peterbilt.

Puck brings world class pumping capabilities to your liquid delivery operations. With the help of the Force Feed Truck and LDH, you can get big water to your big fires. Watch the FF4000-70 in action on our YouTube channel, or call (712) 655-9200 to schedule a demonstration.
