WH 5777 Product Overview

Puck booster pump trailers lead the manure pumping industry. Innovation drives us to continue improving upon existing products to meet the needs of customers before they ask for it. The Warthog 5777 booster pump has a 577hp Cat engine powering a Cornell 81022MPL pump. It will reach 3,500-4,500 gallons per minute.

Chassis

The WH 5777 PB3 on the MK2 chassis features a semi-enclosed engine to protect the more sensitive components of the pump trailer. The engine doors feature lighting inside to illuminate your workspace. The lighting package also includes lights on all sides of the pump unit, as well as the undercarriage to prevent tripping hazards close to the trailer at night.

The overall height of the pump trailer is shorter than previous WH 5777 iterations by about a foot. The length is shorter by about 4 feet for a more compact trailer. The smaller MK2 chassis on the WH 5777 has a lower center of gravity and includes a 5 inch higher ground clearance up to the frame rail. These new chassis features, as well as the new A-frame, allow for a better towing capacity. The A-frame hitch creates more sleek towing capabilities for both trucks and tractors. It also provides room for storage at the front of the trailer.

Hydrostat

The Warthog booster pump trailer features a hydrostat pump which allows operators to run the Puck Lagoon Feeder. The Lagoon Feeder can hook up to the WH 5777 using hydraulic hoses to the ports on the side of the pump unit. This allows each piece to be run with LightSpeed. In addition to the LightSpeed control system, the downriggers and gate controls are on the side of the pump unit. These controls can be run without the engine running, saving the operator time. Additionally, there’s a 12 volt battery post on the front end to charge up your air compressor, run a fuel tank, and whatever else you may need out in the field.

Additional Safety

In addition to the safety lights to see around the engine and the ground, the WH 5777 lighting package includes lights on the bypass area and controls. The front and back areas are well-lit to illuminate the entire working environment when working hours extend late into the night. Furthermore, the pig shooter has been moved to the opposite side of the outflow on the trailer. The pig shooter is now on the inflow side as an added safety measure when cleaning the lines.

The Pump Trailers on the MK2 chassis have many great features to improve the efficiency and safety of your operation. To learn more about the WH 5777, contact a salesperson or call (712) 655-9200
