Production Milestone Reached: Puck’s 300th TTR-20 Hits The Field

Manning, IA (April 22, 2021) – 2021 has proven to be a busy year for Puck, a leading manufacturer of liquid transfer equipment and solutions. One of the most notable accomplishments for the company this year thus far is reaching the production milestone of manufacturing their 300th TTR-20 hose reel, where it is now operating out in the field.

“We are extremely proud to reach this remarkable milestone,” said Jeremy Puck, President & CEO of Puck Enterprises. “This 300th TTR-20 represents the continued growth of our company and family of brands over the last 40 years.”

The TTR-20 was first launched in early 2015 and has been a mainstay for dragline operations ever since. While the core design of this revolutionary piece of equipment remains true to its original form, the TTR-20 of today has a host of new features that enhances capabilities out in the field.

The latest generation has rear-axle air brakes and hydraulically actuated air brakes in the front axle for better handling with tractors or semi-trucks. TTR-20’s turntable platform now rotates on a bearing system instead of a plastic wear plate. This hose cart is also available with a single-speed or two-speed motor on both ends of the implement. The hitch has been updated with an A-frame design to provide more strength and stability when navigating rough terrain and obstacles.

Luke Potthoff, Puck Enterprises Sales Manager, added, “The TTR-20 is one of the most capable hose reels on the market. We continue to incorporate new innovations in our products so that our customers can get the job done as effectively and efficiently as possible.”

Known for being an innovator and industry trailblazer, Puck has continued to push the envelope with liquid transfer equipment design and manufacturing with the introduction of the Boom Truck and Long Reach Agi (first-ever telescoping agitation trailer) in 2020. These two products set out to offer next-level power and performance for operators everywhere. Puck’s commitment to changing the lives of its customers and the industry as a whole remains strong. The achievement of producing its 300th TTR-20 is a testament to that vision.
