Luke Einsweiler | From Service to Sales

Puck’s product lineup features a vast array of equipment with different pump, engine, and size configurations. To help ensure our customers get the equipment that will be most useful to them, our sales team members work to find a match. That means not only knowing the equipment and how it works, but also knowing your customers and their operational needs.

Luke Einsweiler started at Puck in 2018 working in the service department. Luke occasionally helped out with the application crews in the field, learning more about the equipment and how it works. That product knowledge led Luke to yet another department; sales. For the last two and a half years, Luke has been a sales representative covering Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. Based out of the Farley, Iowa location, Luke spends time traveling between states and meeting with customers.

“Number one thing I like about my job is helping customers become more successful,” said Luke. “Whether that’s LightSpeed, or bigger equipment so they pump faster. Whether that’s helping them be more efficient to give them more hours back to their life, or maybe give them more hours to go pick up some more gallons and make some more money.” Liquid manure application jobs are unique to the farmer and the area you’re in. Puck sales team members, like Luke, are eager to help applicators find the right dragline equipment for their unique operation. “I just like being able to help customers with Puck equipment to make their lives easier and their jobs easier.”

Although he enjoys traveling and talking to customers, days behind the desk or at the shop aren’t so bad for Luke, either. “Some of my favorite things about working at Puck are the coworkers and the culture that we have here,” said Luke. “It’s family-oriented, it seems like everyone just likes to come to work and have a good time. Especially, sometimes, after work, so that makes things a lot more fun.” In his six years here, Luke has seen a lot of company growth. Not just the number of employees at Puck, but the product lineup, as well.

“Just in my short stint here, from 2018 to now, I’ve noticed a lot of innovation at Puck,” said Luke. “A lot of equipment is getting bigger, can pump faster, and is getting more efficient.” Puck never stops innovating, making valuable updates to products that benefit our customers, such as updating the TTR 20 and the Pump Trailers. “It’s kind of neat to see the growth we’ve had just in the time that I’ve been here. I’m pretty excited to see where the innovation goes in the next six years.”

Luke will be at the 45th Anniversary event July 12th to reflect on Puck’s 45 years in business. Be sure to follow the event page on Facebook for more Puck history and throwback pictures. For more stories about Puck team members, be sure to follow our Facebook page.
