Attack hoses, or hand lines, are held by firefighters and have nozzles attached at the ends to spray water onto the fire. These hoses are often dragged through buildings and around corners, leaving them at risk of getting caught on objects or kinking. Hi-Combat®
Our most popular attack hose, Hi-Combat® is the ultimate in firefighting hose technology for aggressive interior combat operations. Hi-Combat® is a double jacketed hose with the lowest drag coefficient of any fire hose BullDog has tested. It also has superior kink resistance, exceeding that of conventional jacketed hose. These features make it easier for firefighters to advance during attack operations.
The outer jacket of Hi-Combat® is manufactured to withstand a minimum of 2,000 cycles on the U.L. abrasion test and 12,000 cycles on the F.M. abrasion test programs. Hi-Combat® is also made to withstand a catastrophic burst, even if the hose has been compromised. BullDog’s tested anti-burst technology ensures the hose will not burst catastrophically, even with a ½” diameter hole through both the jacket and the liner.
Red/ Yellow Chief
BullDog’s Chief series is a heavy-duty attack hose with an exclusive heavy-rib outer cover. Red Chief® and Yellow Chief’s heavy-rib construction makes the hose highly resistant to abrasions, cuts, and punctures. The unique nitrile rubber, PVC-through-the-weave design makes the durable attack hose lightweight and flexible with reduced drag. Like Hi-Combat, Red and Yellow Chief will not burst catastrophically, even with a ½” hole in the hose. Red Chief® and Yellow Chief are ideally suited to meet the specifications and tough demands of most municipal fire departments.
Hi-Power
High-rise firefighting has unique tactical and equipment requirements. Hi-Power high-rise fire hose is engineered by BullDog to provide reliable performance in high-rise environments. Hi-Power is an ultra-lightweight, maneuverable, nitrile-rubber hose designed specifically for fighting fires in high-rise buildings. The lightweight, through-the-weave construction is heat and puncture resistant with BullDog’s anti-burst technology. The rubber cover prevents water from penetrating the reinforcement, thus minimizing the weight of the hose when in service.
