Puck Attends World Pork Expo ’24
The annual World Pork Expo kicked off this summer at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines. Puck returned to the outdoor exhibits by the Varied Industries Building to display the industry-leading product lineup. Our 2024 expo booth featured hose carts, booster and lead pumps, and force feed trucks and trailers. Last year’s expo saw the launch of the improved TTR 20, and this year Puck showed off the newest improvements on the pump trailers. Puck’s outdoor booth at the 2024 World Pork Expo saw many familiar faces as well, and also some new ones.
One of those familiar faces was Kyle Luckey from Luckey’s Pumping Service in Columbus, Nebraska. Luckey has been using Puck equipment in his business for 13 years. “What I like most about Puck’s is the interaction with the employees,” said Luckey. “I’ve known them since the beginning, so it’s been easy to know everyone as they've grown.” Luckey and company were one of many customers who stopped by the Puck booth for drinks and a chat. Some customers were with family and young children were often excited to see the same equipment that their parents use.
Puck’s booth was outside the Varied Industries Building. Many attendees stopped by the booth because of the sheer size of Puck equipment. Expo attendees talked to sales representatives about equipment specifications, features, and how Puck products can make their jobs easier. Sales team members showed attendees the Puck toy display as an example of a liquid manure dragline from source to field. One underlying thought among those who had not previously seen Puck equipment was the durability and capability of the equipment on display.
Customers Come to Visit
Puck customers who attended World Pork Expo 2024 visited our booth to chat and have a drink with their sales representative or other Puck employees they’ve met over the years. In addition to reminiscing on the past, conversations drifted to what there is to look forward to in the manure pumping industry. Each year, innovations are made that push the manure application industry forward to make it more efficient.
Many customers confirmed that they are looking forward to coming to Manning July 12th for the 45th Anniversary event. This open house event will have product demonstrations, vendors, food trucks, drinks, and live music. Puck products will be on display for visitors to view and ask questions about, as well as tour the facility.
